A double tap on any label grants additional information about specific features, enhancing the educational aspect of the experience.

Saturn Atlas presents an informative display of the moon's phase, axial tilt, and central meridian based on the user's selected location and time. Users can easily switch to a 'Globe' mode for a comprehensive view of the moon, allowing for rotation to inspect the entire surface. The application includes a searchable feature database, enabling users to locate specific features instantly, with the option to disable the phase view for better clarity of the globe.

Customization options include displaying the moon's globe with either the north or south pole at the top or even in an inverted view for those utilizing different types of telescopes. The app encompasses over 440 named features among the seven moons: Dione, Enceladus, Iapetus, Mimas, Rhea, Tethys, and Titan.

In the phase view, users can observe Saturn as it appears currently, including the tilt of its rings. The interface allows for swiping left and right to navigate through consecutive days. Additionally, switching to landscape mode provides an expansive view of the moons in their approximate positions relative to the selected timeframe.

Users have flexibility in adjusting date, time, and location settings, with a real-time mode that updates to reflect current astronomical conditions. The app also extends its offerings with atlases for other celestial bodies such as the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter available on the App Store.
